DLC once again reminded that the deadline to submit applications to update SSL V5.0 products to V5.1 is April 15, 2022. V5.0 products that have not submitted an update application by deadline will be delisted from the QPL on June 30, 2022. V5.0 products updated after April 15 must submit a new product application, NOT an update application.

Please note that as approach the application deadline, DLC is experiencing a higher than normal application volume. Applications will be processed in the order they are received. Please also be aware of the following:

• Initial and comprehensive review timeframes for SSL and Hort applications are currently extended by 10 days each；

• Review priority is being given to applications updating V5.0 products to V5.1. This may impact review timeframes for all other SSL application types；

• Any new product applications submitted between April 11 and May 1 will not begin the initial review process until the first week of May。

Now most manufacturers have completed DLC upgrades, BACL energy efficiency technical experts remind: manufacturers who have not yet begun to upgrade, please screen out your product list as soon as possible, and ensure that your products obtain DLC certification for future shipments and market planning.
