Vietnam issued Circular No. G/TBT/N/VNM/13/Rev.1 to amend temporary rules such as limits, sampling methods and test methods for formaldehyde and azo dye in textiles under the Circular No. 32/TT-BCT released by Industrial and Trade Department on 5 November 2009.

The Circular is applicable to organizations or individuals for production, import, distribution and retail of textiles, and organs for textile testing and certification.

The comment period for the Circular is 60 days since the publishing date and is to become effective since January 2016. Companies shall pay heed to related news so as to make preparations in advance.
