Publisher:Admin  Source:  Date:2022/3/17

On March 8, 2020, Argentina’s telecommunication regulatory agency (ENACOM) issued new standard (version 21.1) of Low Power Devices technical standard ENACOM-Q1-60.14.

The main changes are:

1. Addition of 0,490 – 1,705 Mhz

Maximum allowed power: 24.000/f(kHz) μV/m@30m

2. Addition of 1,705 – 30 MHz

Maximum allowed power: 30μV/m@ 30 m

This new standard came into force on March 8, 2022.

Previous standard of v20.1 will still be accepted for on-going applications and new applications until June 6, 2022.

Retesting is not required for certificate renewal if the devices are complied with the new standard. Thus, manufacturer will only need to send a declaration letter stating compliance with v21.1 of Low Power Devices standard.
