On January 24, 2022, the president of Burkina Faso resigned from his post due to a military coup in the capital Ouagadougou. Some public administrations, including the Autorité de Regulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) of Burkina Faso, have been closed since January 24, 2022.
