The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) of Saudi Arabia has published “WLAN Regulations” on January 1, 2022. This document is now in effect and replaces “Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN/Wi-Fi) Usage Regulations”.

WLAN equipment shall be type approved by CITC prior to importation to Saudi Arabia and needs to conform with the technical conditions specified in table below:
