Recently, The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand announced on the official website the updates of 3 NBTC standards.

NBTC TS 1001-2561 and NBTC TS 1024-2561 have been withdrawn，and replaced by NBTC TS 1001-2564 (VHF/UHF land mobile) and NBTC TS 1024-2564 (VHF/UHF digital land mobile). The new standards update the minimum technical requirements for radio-communication equipment used in Land Mobile Service using VHF/UHF for Speech Communications, such as electrical safety requirements, test methods, etc.

NBTC TS 1021-2561 has been withdrawn，and replaced by NBTC TS 1021-2564 (VHF maritime mobile). The new standard includes transmitter and receiver requirements, electrical Safety Requirements, and test method, etc. In the new standard, it also added the detection method of the Maximum usable sensitivity (ANSI/TIA/EIA-603-E).

Effective date: December 21st 2021.
