Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones (SUBTEL) in Chile has deployed 5G technology on December 16, 2021. From this point on, companies may offer business plans for users with mobile devices suitable for 5G (1800 MHz). Chile is the first country in the South America region to have 5G technology available nationwide.
