Costa Rica proposed Draft of Costa Rican Technical Regulation (RTCR) No. 503:2021 that covers energy efficiency requirements and conformity assessment procedures for household cooking appliances. Regulated products are cookers, electrical and induction plates and electric ovens for domestic use that are manufactured, imported, used and marketed in the national territory, as well as allowing exclusively the import and marketing of products that meet these requirements.
