On December 11, 2021, Thailand TISI drafted a new regulation that mandates electrical appliances for skin or hair care to conform with the standard for Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 2-23: Particular requirements for appliances for skin or hair care [TIS 60335 Part 2(23)-2564].

This standard is identical to IEC 60335-2-23 Edition 6.1: 2019 Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-23: Particular requirements for appliances for skin or hair care.
