On 19 November 2021, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) published Issue 1 of RSS-248. The new radio standard specification defines the certification, technical and operational requirements for license-exempt low-power indoor RLAN devices operating in the 5925 - 7125 MHz frequency band. RSS-248 entered into force on November 19, 2021.
