On October 8, 2021, DLC issued an upgrade reminder for SSL V5.1, At the same time, DLC want to know manufacturer's plans for update V5.0 products to V5.1. The Last day to update V5.0 products to V5.1 is April 15, 2022. If your product was previously qualified as DLC V5.0, please upgrade as so on as possible before this time. Products not updated to V5.1 will be delisted on June 30, 2022. Compared with DLC5.0, DLC5.1 adds some new metrics into DLC QPL, such as TM-30 metrics, BUG, Sensor Type, Communication Protocols and Controllability.

The following DLC V5.0 products may not meet the requirements of DLC 5.1Manufacturers should pay more attention to the followingitems:

• Linear Replacement Lampswithout continuous dimming capability;

• Outdoor luminaires without continuous or step dimming capability;

• DLC standard product without 9000 hours LM-80 tested report;

• Indoor luminaires with R9＜0 or TM-30 metrics that cannot meet the new 5.1 requirements;

• Indoorproduct with color maintenance△u′v′ from 1,000-hour to 6,000-hour exceeds 0.004in the LM-80 report;

• DLC Premium product withUGR＞22 forTroffer Luminaires and Integrated Retrofit Kits, Linear Ambient Luminaires and Retrofit Kits; DLC Premium product withUGR＞25 for Low-Bay Luminaires and Retrofit Kits; DLC Premium product withUGR＞28 for High-Bay Luminaires and Retrofit Kits;

• All Indoor Premium productsexhibit chromaticity without 4-step quadrangle in the ANSI C78.377;

• Linear Replacement Lampsbeam angle less than 140°.
