On April 2021, Argentina National Communications Entity (ENACOM) published a new technical standard for Low Power Devices ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V20.1 through Resolution 551/2021.
The new standard became effective since July 26, 2021 and after this date, the new standard must be referenced. For renewal applications, retesting is not required as long as the old test reports can demonstrate compliance with the new standard.
This standard will apply to transmitters/transceivers that provide one-way or two-way communications and that have a low ability to cause interference to other radio equipment.
Applicable product categories include but are not limited to the following products:
• Alarms and motion detectors
• Closed circuit television (CCTV)
• Devices for Industrial Control
• Remote controls
• Access Controls (including door opener systems)
• Wireless audio devices, including microphones
• Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
• Transport Telematics Equipment
• Telemetry Systems
