On July 29, 2021 ANATEL published the Act 5205, which is related to guideline of Declaration of Conformity (DoC) with ANATEL Brand. The DoC procedure looks pretty much like the regular certification mode, but the applicant (local rep) can apply the procedure directly with ANATEL without requiring the use of one OCD (OCD is optional in this mode). Our Local Rep can handle the approval by DoC directly with ANATEL.

The required documents are basically the same (representative letter, manual, internal and external pictures, Factory ISO and testing report (overseas ILAC testing report is acceptable) and the CoC will be replaced by a DoC declaration. Applicant will submit these files to ANATEL.

The DoC with ANATEL Brand is applicable only for a few types of equipment according to Act 7280, such as: Fiber Optic Connector, Connector for Coaxial Cable, xDSL Filter - Switch Splitter, Aerial Optical Terminal Box, Underground Optical Terminal Box, Underground Optical Terminal Box for Residential Areas and Small Commercial Buildings, etc. Here are products that DoC with ANATEL Brand is allowed.

This procedure does not have certificate renewal, i.e., the certificate is valid for lifetime.
