Ivory Coast AIGF Authorizes Use of 76-77 GHz Radar Systems

The Ivorian Agency of Radio frequency Management (AIGF) has on June 8, 2021, authorized the regulator Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications/TIC of the Ivory Coast (ARTCI) for homologation of vehicle anti-collision radar devices in the 76-77 GHz frequency band.

Thus, the ARTCI is now able to carry out conformity assessment procedures and issue type approval certificates for radar systems operating on the 76-77 GHz frequency band and intended to be used in vehicles as a collision warning system.
