On 12 July 2021, Singapore Enterprise issued new circular CPSO-120721-00 to inform the changes on safety standards for the high-risk Controlled Goods, regulated under the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR).

Below are the main changes:

1. The required safety standards for the high-risk Controlled Goods are updated and will be effective from 13 July 2022.

2. From July 2022 onwards, the Controlled Goods with old safety standard as listed below will not be accepted for new registrations or renewal.
