When playing with electric toys, children can suffocate or even die if they accidentally swallow the button/coin battery. On December 22, 2020, 4 mandatory standards were proposed by Australian government to reduce the risk of injury and death caused by the use of button/coin batteries. The mandatory standards include an 18-month transition period. Starting from June 22, 2022, suppliers must meet the requirements of the standards.
