On June 29, 2021, the World Trade organization (WTO) circulated three proposals from the European Union (EU) announcing its intention to add new phthalate exemptions in Annex IV under Directive 2011/65/EU（RoHS 2.0）through Notification G/TBT/N/EU/808, G/TBT/N/EU/809 and G/TBT/N/EU/810. These proposals are open for feedback for 15 days.
