EU Proposes to Add New Phthalate Exemptions Under RoHS

On June 29, 2021, the World Trade organization (WTO) circulated three proposals from the European Union (EU) announcing its intention to add new phthalate exemptions in Annex IV under Directive 2011/65/EU(RoHS 2.0)through Notification G/TBT/N/EU/808, G/TBT/N/EU/809 and G/TBT/N/EU/810. These proposals are open for feedback for 15 days.


According to Notification G/TBT/N/EU/809, In Annex IV to Directive 2011/65/EU, the following entry 45 is added:
