The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has inaugurated a committee to develop the Information Memorandum (IM) for an auction of spectrum in the 3.5GHz band which will be used for the early deployment of 5G services. Spectrum in the 3.5GHz-3.9GHz range will be allocated to mobile operators for the deployment of 5G networks.
