On 15 June 2021, The European Commission (EC) has issued a draft act, proposing to amend mercury exemption in single capped (compact) fluorescent lamps for special purposes in Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2). This draft act is open for feedback for 4 weeks.

In Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU, entry 1(f) is replaced by the following:
