VN/ViệtnamOn 1 June 2021,Enterprise Singapore released a new circular.
1. The current “Consumer Protection, Weights and Measures Division” of Enterprise Singapore, will be renamed to the “Consumer Product Safety, Weights and Measures Office”.
2. The Consumer Product Safety Office (CPSO), an office overseen by Enterprise Singapore, will oversee the safety of consumer products which are under the purview of the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR), and the Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods Safety Requirements) Regulations (CGSR).
3. This change has no impact to any of the registered Controlled Goods (CGs) and/ or any ongoing registrations/ renewals. There is no change to the SAFETY Mark logo. The current CPSA website: https://cpsa.enterprisesg.gov.sg also remains valid and accessible to users.
