EN 17128:2020 new standard for light electric vehiclesèè  

1. Standard scope of application

• EN17128:2020 is applicable to personal light electric vehicles that are wholly or partly powered by a self-contained power source with or without a self-balancing system, except for vehicles rented from unmanned stations.

• Personal light electric vehicles with or without a self-balancing system that is fully or partially powered by an independent power source with a battery voltage of 100 VDC, with or without an integrated battery charger with an input voltage of up to 240 VAC.
