On May 3rd 2021, Indonesia SDPPI released “PERDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 5 TAHUN 2021” regulation which is the technical standard for telecommunication devices that are based on International Mobile Telecommunications 2020 (IMT-2020), which refers to 5G New Radio (5G NR) standard.

The main points are as follow:

1. Power supply

Standard for base station with AC power supply: AC 220 V ± 10% and frequency 50Hz ± 2%.

2. Electrical Safety Requirements

Device has to fulfil requirements based on SNI IEC 60950-1:2016 or SNI IEC 62368-1:2014.

3. EMC Requirements

EMC standard for base station: SNI CISPR 32:2015 or ETSI EN 301-489-50.
