EU Publishes Toy Safety Standard EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021

An amended version of European Standard EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021 Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements was published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) on 14 April 2021. This standard was prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 52 “Safety of toys”. It was approved on behalf of the Technical Board on 2 February 2021. The new standard EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021 will be given the status of a national standard and the conflicting national standards will be withdrawn at the latest by October 2021.

 

Compared with the previous version, mainly amended the migration limit of aluminum element this time. The changes are as below:
