On March 5th ANATEL (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações) from Brazil issued the Act No. 1477 in where their objective is to establish the technical and operational requirements for the use of the spectrum by stations operating in the frequency range from 3.3GHz to 3.7GHz and, in accordance with the Regulation on Conditions of Use for the 3.5 GHz Radio Frequency Band.

This new regulation makes it possible to test and approve the 5G NR band n78 in Brazil. This Act becomes effective on April 1, 2021.
