ENACOM Updates Broadband & FHSS Systems Test Protocols Versions
Publisher:Admin  Source:  Date:2020/11/27

On 28th, October, 2020, Argentinas Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina released the following two updated test protocol versions:

1. Test protocol for Frequency Hopping Systems V20.1.

2. Test protocol for Wideband Digital Modulation Systems V20.1.

These test protocols cover the following frequency bands:

• 902-928MHz

• 2400-2483.5MHz

• 5150-5250MHz

• 5250-5350MHz

• 5470-5600MHz

• 5650-5725MHz

• 5725-5850MHz

These procedures come into effect from 12/01/2020, and will be used taking into account the scope defined in each of them. The main change is that the bandwidth measured by the local tests laboratories for each frequency bands now will be the minimum and maximum one, as before was only the maximum.

The rest of the equipment, referred to in ENACOM Resolution 4653/2019 as Other Systems, will continue to be tested under the ENACOM-Q2-60.14 Technical Standard. Because this new approval increases the tests procedures, the testing costs will raise in Argentina.
