VN/ViệtnamOn November 23, 2020 Enterprise Singapore released a new circular (Cir 2020-12) to inform registered suppliers regarding the changes of safety standard for AC adaptors regulated under the Consumer Protection Registration Scheme (CPS).

All new registrations or renewals of AC adaptors for table/standing lamps should comply with IEC 60598-2-4:2017 as the minimum edition.
4. Exception:
This new circular will not affect registration or renewal of other AC adaptors supported by safety standards other than IEC 60598-2-4, which it means adaptors for products.
This regulation is effective from the date of issuance.
