On October 22, 2020, Chile revised the Resolución No. 1985 of Chile's Type Approval Regulations in the official gazette. And it took effect when it was issued.
The details are as follows:
1. Modified the maximum EIRP and radiated power limit allowed in the 5150-5250 MHz frequency band in Chile. See the table below for details:

2. The newly added equipment with a frequency of 5925-7125 MHz (for indoor use only) must have the following transmit power:
1) Maximum output power EIRP value is 30 dBm.
2) Maximum PSD (power spectral density) value is 5 dBm / MHz.
In addition, low-power AP devices can only have integrated antennas that cannot be removed or replaced, and cannot have connectors that allow connection of other external antennas. Likewise, they cannot run on built-in batteries, nor can they leave room for battery installation. In this case, the maximum EIRP value is 24 dBm, and the power spectral density (PSD) should be lower than -1 dBm/MHz.
