On September 27, 2020, the Brazil National Telecommunications Authority (ANATEL) issued an official Letter NO.585/2020. The main content of the letter is that considering the remaining impacts of COVID-19, ANATEL has decided to extend the simplified process for certificate renewal mentioned in official Letters 134/20, 194/20 and 384/20.

So, if the certificate is valid from March 6, 2020 to December 31, 2020, and the device has not been modified in any way, the certificate can be renewed without providing new internal and external photos and local testing.
