On July 31, 2020, the Brazilian Communications Authority ANATEL issued 8 regulations, which are supplement of detailed provisions for the relevant operating procedures of Resolution 715 in the effective regulation outline.

The clauses separately stipulate all relevant operating regulations involved in the ANATEL certification and registration process, such as the responsibilities of subject, technical specifications, conformity assessment, certification marks and laboratory assessments. The 8 regulations will take effect after the 180 days from the date of issue. The following is a summary of the relevant regulations:

1. Act 4088 - the Operational Procedure for Marking the ANATEL Homologation Identification in Telecommunications Products；

2. Act 4091 - the Operational Procedure for the Selection, Evaluation and Qualification of Testing Laboratories for the purpose of Conformity Assessment of Telecommunications Products;

3. Act 4083 - the Operational Procedure for Conformity Assessment of Products for Telecommunications by Certification；

4. Act 4082 - the Operational Procedure that Establishes the Means of Exercise of Rights and Fulfillment of Obligations by the Agents Involved in the Conformity Assessment of Telecommunications Products；

5. Act 4081 - the Operational Procedure for the Designation of a Certification Body for Telecommunications Products.；

6. Act 4085 –the Operational Procedure for the Recognition of Professionals as Specialists in the Conformity Assessment of Telecommunications Products；

7. Act 4084 - the Operational Procedure for Homologation of the Certificate of Conformity for Telecommunications Products；

8. Act 4077 - To approve the Operational Procedure for Technical Alteration of a Telecommunications Product Approved by a Certificate of Conformity or by a Declaration of Conformity, in the form of the Attachment to this Act；
