On 16 June 2017, the Official Journal of the European Union has published Commission Delegated Directives (EU)2017/1009, (EU)2017/1010 and (EU)2017/1011 to amend exemptions in Annex Ⅲ,  These exemption extensions concern the use of lead and cadmium in reflective and optical glass, and the use of lead in bearing shells and bushes for certain compressors and will be applicable from 6 July 2018.
