On 14 June 2017, the Official Journal of the European Union published Directive (EU) 2017/1000 adding an extra entry in Annex XVII of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 for restriction on Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), salts and PFOA-related substances.

This restriction will be applicable from 4 July 2020 and more restriction requirement as following table:
