In January, 2017, there were total 15 recall cases of textile and footwear products in foreign countries including the US, Canada, EU and Australia, and 7 of them coming from China.
The reasons of recall are mainly the rope strangulation risk for children’s sweatshirt, children’s dress; small parts falling off risk for sweatshirts and romper suit for babies; the excessive contents of chromium VI in leather trousers, leather toiletry bag, leather jacket; the excessive contents of formaldehyde in girls’ dress; the excessive contents of nickel in sandals; the flammability problem for bath robes.
