On September 6, 2016, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) opened public consultation on six proposed SVHCs. The public consultation runs until October 21, 2016. Comments can be submitted on the identity of the substance, uses, volumes, exposure, alternatives and risks.

The six proposed substances in the consultation are listed as below:
